We understand that most patients have some type of medical insurance. Because there are now so many new insurance programs that place special requirements on patients and doctors, we will appreciate you presenting your insurance identification card to the receptionist when you register. We participate in a great number of managed care health insurance plans including:

Medicare (participating) Medicaid Aetna (all plans) BCBS (all plans) Champus/Tricare State Health Coventry Cigna (PPO)

Kaiser Humana First Health PHCS Southcare Beechstreet United Healthcare (PPO)

We file claims for patients covered by these managed care plans as required by our contract with the insurance company or network. Once insurance has paid we will bill for any deductible or co-insurance amounts indicated by the insurance company as patient responsibility. Co-payments are due the day of your visit to the office. We are a "participating provider" for Medicare. We will file Medicare and any supplemental insurance for you and then you will be billed for any co-payment or deductibles that apply.
