Dr. Robert A. Underwood and the Surgical Arts, PC, specialize in the comprehensive surgical care and management of patients with diseases and disorders of the endocrine system as well as patients requiring surgical management of oncologic diseases such as malignant melanoma. Comprehensive surgical management of hepatobiliary, pancreatic, and gastrointestinal disorders is also offered. Various advanced minimally invasive surgical procedures are routinely offered and available including: Laparoscopic adrenalectomy; Minimally invasive directed parathyroidectomy; Sentinel lymph node biopsy; and Laparoscopic antireflux procedures.
